Security and Protecting your Account
Capstone Bank is strongly committed to protecting the security and confidentiality of our customer account information. Capstone uses state-of-the-art technology in the ongoing development of its Online PC Banking service to ensure this security. We use several different methods to protect your account information:
- Your account numbers are not displayed in full - only the last 3 digits can be viewed.
- You must have a valid Access ID and Password to logon.
- If no action is taken for 10 minutes, you will be automatically logged off Capstone Bank Online.
Unauthorized use of Capstone Bank website and systems including but not limited to unauthorized entry into our Internet banking system, internal network, misuse of passwords, or misuse of any information posted on our website is strictly prohibited.
Any and all information, materials, product offerings, services, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Not all products and services advertised on this website are available in all geographic areas. We reserve the right to determine your eligibility for any product or service.
Electronic Transfer Disclosure
To the extent you use the Service to make electronic fund transfers ("EFTs"), your rights and obligations regarding such EFTs are set forth in full in our EFT Disclosure, a copy of which was provided to you upon opening your account. The EFT Disclosure sets forth, among other rights and obligations, limitations on EFTs, your right to documentation of EFTs, our business days, stop payment procedures, our liability for failure to stop payments, your liability for unauthorized transfers, procedures for addressing errors and questions regarding EFTs and payments, disclosure about your accounts or transfers to third parties, and other disclosures required by law.
We are not responsible for any computer virus or related problems that may be associated with the use of an on-line system. We recommend that you routinely scan your PC and diskettes using a reliable virus detection product to remove any viruses found.
Use of Information Submitted Through the Website
Limitation of Liability
Capstone Bank will under no circumstances be liable to you and/or any third party for any damages including without limitation direct or any indirect, special, consequential, incidental or punitive damages whatsoever, arising in connection with this website or use thereof or inability to use by any party, or in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, line or system failure, even if Capstone Bank has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Furthermore, Capstone will not be liable for any difficulty in use, or for the incompatibility between this website and your web browser or other site accessing program. Nor will Capstone Bank be liable for any other problems you experience due to causes beyond our control.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with federal statutes and the laws of Alabama.
This website is not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation.

Your registration for Capstone Bank Online confirms (1) your agreement to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this agreement; and (2) your acknowledgement that you received and understand the terms and conditions of this agreement.
